John Howard Hotel, London

I was pleasantly surprised with the upgrade to a 2-bedroom apartment, which offered ample space for two large suitcases and featured an excellent bathroom. The room was very nice and spacious, making for a comfortable stay; however, the dining options were a bit overpriced for my taste.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious but in need of some updating, and the price was higher compared to other areas in the country. On the bright side, the room was beautifully furnished with plenty of space and a spacious bathroom. The service from the young staff members, aged between 24-30, was excellent and very helpful. One particular staff member went above and beyond to ensure everything was tidy, even taking care of my teddy bear. However, the location was a bit of a mixed bag. While it's very convenient for those wanting a quiet neighborhood near Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, it's not ideal in terms of proximity to a Tube station or restaurants. As for the dining experience, it was a pleasant surprise, offering fresh and tasty options, although a bit more variety would have been appreciated. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory but could benefit from some improvements.
